Why I'm Running

I'm running for Congress

because this country needs new leadership—leaders who aren’t beholden to corporations or the ultra-wealthy. I believe that no American who’s working hard to survive in today’s economy should have to struggle just to pay for gas, food, or housing—and everyone should have access to health care that won’t send them into bankruptcy.

I’ve spent my entire career battling the system, and I know what it takes to fight—and win. I wrote a book called The Last Survivor: Lessons From the Past and Dying Dream of Freedom, which tells the story of my family’s immigration journey and how it connects to the broken system we see today. I also host a podcast called Immigration Ain’t Easy, where I share real stories and real solutions.

MEET MO

Maurice “Mo” Goldman is a proud Tucson native.

He has spent his entire professional career assisting individuals, businesses, research organizations and others navigate the complexities of the U.S. immigration system. His intimate knowledge of immigration is critical during a time where the system has limited functionality and leaves many businesses without necessary employees. The grandchild of Holocaust survivors who were liberated by Allied troops in 1945, he believes in the power of community and using compassion to lead. Throughout his 25-year career, Mo has assisted a wide spectrum of clients and organizations including large corporations, small businesses, battered and abused spouses and children, research organizations, members of the military, DREAMers and many others. His impact has been felt throughout the congressional district, and across our nation, with many successful cases that helped to benefit our communities, families and our economy.

Mo lives in Oro Valley with his wife, Amy. They have three children and are proud parents to their dog, Lexi, who was adopted from the Pima Animal Care Center (PACC).
